Port & Logistics

The Drechtsteden have a seaport of several inland ports. Due to this location between the mainports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, the region has developed a logistics DNA with a number of specialties on heavy – and special transport, handling and contract logistics.

Locations

This cluster has two top locations: the Western Bank of Dordrecht with seaport and the BCTN container terminal in Alblasserdam. Both sites are operated by the Port of Rotterdam Authority.
