Europort lanceert nieuwe campagne voor de 40e editie in 2021

Exact één jaar voor de start van Europort 2021, lanceert de maritieme beurs haar nieuwe campagne. Voor de 40e editie die van 2 tot 5 november 2021 in Rotterdam Ahoy gehouden zal worden. Europort stuurt een open uitnodiging naar de maritieme wereld om deel uit te maken van deze maritieme transitie.

 

 

Together, today, tomorrow

As the maritime exhibition mentions, 2020 will be remembered as a year of disruption for people and society. “The impact is massive and unprecedented, and the maritime world is no exception”, says Europort exhibition manager Raymond Siliakus. He explains how the exhibition addresses both current affairs in the industry as well as its future challenges: “Our rivers and seas are filled with challenges and opportunities. We invite industry peers from around the world to explore the power of technology and transparency; to create, cooperate and innovate and to engineer, build and maintain sustainable (relation)ships.”

Driven by values like Thought Leadership

Europort focuses on several key values that all are essential to the maritime platform. Firstly, Craftmanship and Entrepreneurship: on a foundation of years of experience in a country that is closely connected to water, shipbuilding and engineering is in the DNA of Europort. Therefore, it is the place to showcase and explore all about special purpose vessels and high-tech solutions. Even more so, taking the lead in innovation and charting the path to the future is one of Europort’s primary ambitions, leading to the values Thought Leadership and Ownership. The platform dares ship owners and cross-industry pioneers to take the stage and share their vision on the road ahead. But the last essential values Partnership and Friendship are just as important. Europort explains the aim to go beyond just another network opportunity: they facilitate an environment to meet the right people, create new business opportunities and maximise return on investments. Although live and face-to-face experiences will remain the focus, the exhibition will also offer data-based tools that will enable matchmaking and additional hybrid models in case the pandemic continues next year.

Themes

Although Europort does not want to set all topics and themes yet in order to be able to respond to current events, the headlines for the Europort 2021 program have been defined; fully in line with some of the industry’s most important transition trails. Digitalization, Energy Transition and Involving The Next Generation. These are key to reshape the maritime future and will lead the Europort 2021 agenda; from special ships and innovative technology to port logistics and neighbouring industries.
